We had our first snow this week. It made alot of people happy, but I cried on the way to work.
You can take the girl out of the south...give her a big coat, heated seats, tan towels and snow days...but under it all she still wants to wear her flip-flops all year long.
The Help is out on DVD. Loved it even more the 2nd time around.
I broke down and bought some Uggs. I'm sure I committed some kind of fashion sin, but they're dang warm.
Peppermint bark is my holiday addiction. And peppermint ice cream. And Skinny Peppermint Mochas. And Candy Cane Hershey Kisses. Every day. Every night. Love me some Peppermint.
Yes, I'm still working out. At Jazzercise the other day it made me laugh. Two wimpy high school girls beside me where barely keeping up with the class, and my 28 year old ass was kicking it. Ha! I'm lucky I didn't trip.
Skinnytaste.com-I love you.
In the winter I'm always late to work. June is such a little snuggler.
Speaking of June, she occasionally still has "accidents" in the house. I found a few of them under the Xmas tree.
I shouldn't be judgmental about other people's parenting skills. My dog is 3 and we're still potty-training sometimes.
2 Hard-boiled eggs are the best breakfast.
The Blue Door Boutique is going to kill me. I went on a no-shopping haitus last year for 6 weeks. I'm going for longer this year.....and I'm starting tonight.
Except for that big North Face coat I'm going to snag at REI in Houston on the day after Xmas sale :)
I put all my spring / summer / fall clothes in the spare bedroom closet in the basement.
Lets just say that I'm disgusted with myself and don't need a dang thing. Nada.
In my family, we get a new book by our bed every year on Christmas morning.
As a kid, I loved opening that first present. As an adult, I still love it.
I made the ruffle tree skirt from Pinterest for my Aggie / Longhorn Tree in the basement.
Tree skirts are supposed to be round. Mine ended up being a rectangle.
